MAM is a Theoretical Materials Chemist, Postdoctoral Associate at the Department of Chemistry and the Materials Research Center, Northwestern University, currently advised by Profs. George Schatz and Mark Ratner. Our research interests: energy and materials science, nanoelectronics, transient spectroscopy, semiconductor interfaces, and artificial intelligence.
PhD degree in Chemistry received in Dec. 2014 from Purdue University, West Lafayette, IN. Advisor: Adam Wasserman. At Purdue, MAM developed new theoretical approaches to the infamous problem of the derivative discontinuity, and contributed to the creation of a family of fragment-based density-functional theories, which are ready for applications.
